NCIDQ Certified interior designers have distinguished themselves by demonstrating a specific set of core interior design competencies, and have proven their knowledge of current standards established to protect public health, safety and welfare, as well as mastery of aesthetic considerations.
Only Registered ARIDO members can use the title ‘Interior Designer’ in Ontario. To be a Registered ARIDO member you must have passed the NCIDQ examination. In fact, it’s against the law to use the title if you have not met ARIDO’s standards. Registered Interior Designers have met and continues to maintain a high level of qualifications and standards.
